  • Remedy plus defend

I have Tarandus and noticed some strange behavior with the Remedy skill. Remedy applies a buff for 3 turns that reduces damage by 50%. If I have the buff applied to a curio, weak elemental attacks apply an additional 50% damage reduction, resulting in zero damage. However, if I have the buff applied and defend against a non-weak attack, it only results in a total of 75% reduction instead of 100%. It appears to be first applying a 50% reduction to the damage, then applying another 50% damage to the result of that calculation. Is this working as expected?

I imagine so. The strange thing to me is that when a weak element attacks a defending curio then it results in damage.

I imagine it was tweaked just a little bit so that you can't somehow gained health over and over and over by abusing how damage reduction works but unfortunately I sure it still possible to do.
